$5 a Zit

I did something the other day that I've never done before. I purchased expensive lotion. I normally purchase generic $2.75 face lotion, but I decided to splurge...big time. I was sucked in by the commercial. "Why, I have fine lines and age spots," I thought to myself. "This could be just the stuff for me!"

So I did it. I went out and bought $17 Oil of Olay Definity.

Now I have extra fine lines (from agonizing over whether or not I should spend $17 on 1.7 ounces of lotion), age spots...and zits. Hmph! I'm going back to my old frugal self.

Day 12

Well, tommorrow will be the last day of the State Fair. So it ends again. Time has been well spent finding every mascott I could possibly find to take a photo with. This was the funniest one. A blimp. What kind of mascott is that? See you at the FAIR!

A fun free pic!

This was a free picture we had taken at the Qwest truck in Promos on Patch at the State Fair. The picture is made up of other pictures of stuff. It was sent overnight by email. I thought it was fun!

WE WERE ON THE NEWS!

Yesterday we purposely stood outside the Kare 11 barn right where Belinda Jensen does her weather. I set the TIVO for the 5:00 news and 6:00 in case we got on. We were on more times than Mike Pomeranz himself (5:00 news guy). If you look in the right hand corner of this picture (above Sven's head in the trampoline) you can see hubby and myself right inbetween two guys. We got in almost every shot AND there was a close up of me when they came back to the news one time. It was so fun. I even got a terrific picture of me and Sven Sundgaard. I'll post some more pics soon. I was able to have my Mom and Dad watch it, I wish someone else had seen it too! This is just a picture from the Kare 11 website. The TV version is obviously better :) I was so excited!
